Adelanto, Calif.-based K&S Enterprises is a manufacturer of elastomer products for helicopters, whose product line includes custom seals, sleeves, ducts, and gaskets.

Amplitech Group, Inc. to Acquire Specialty Microwave Corp. (SMW)
Ronkonkoma, N.Y.-based Specialty Microwave Corp. (SMW) manufactures microwave components, subsystems and specialized electronics, and services for space, defense, and military markets. The company was founded in 1979. Prior to the date of the Agreement, Amplitech had engaged SMW as service provider for housing and engineering support. Amplitech first started working with SMW in 2018.

Acorn Growth Companies Acquires DIMO Corp.
New Castle, Delaware-based DIMO Corp. is a value-added distributor of operationally critical parts and higher-level assemblies for power, electromechanical, life support and mission-specific aircraft systems. The company was founded in 1994.

Oakley Capital Limited Acquires KVH Industries, Inc. Subsidiary Videotel Marine International Limited
London, UK-based Videotel Marine is a producer of training films and e-Learning services for the commercial maritime industry. Servicing over 11,000 vessels, Videotel provides maritime training services, offering video, animation, e-Learning computer-based training (CBT), and interactive distance learning courses.

BlackBern Partners, LLC Acquires Zentech Manufacturing, Inc.
Baltimore, Md.-based Zentech Manufacturing is an engineering-driven electronics contract manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of highly complex electronic and RF circuit cards and assemblies. The company’s core capabilities include design, build, and testing solutions. Zentech’s primary markets are Defense and Aerospace (55%), Medical (25%), Communications (10%), and Industrial Controls (10%).

Meritor, Inc to Acquire Carlyle Group Portfolio Company AxleTech
Troy, Mich.-based AxleTech is a technology company that engineers, designs, manufactures, sells and services powertrain solutions for on- and off-highway heavy-duty vehicles. The company supports OEMs and the aftermarket for commercial and defense customers around the world. In addition to advanced powertrain systems, the company also manufacturers axles, brakes, components and aftermarket parts.

CLM Equity Partners, LLC Acquires Zircon Precision Products, Inc.
Tempe, Ariz.-based Zircon Precision Products is a precision aerospace machining business supporting both commercial and military applications. Through its CNC machining and other specialized capabilities, Zircon produces precision aerospace machined parts and has built a strong reputation for quality throughout the aerospace industry.

Boeing Statement on 737 MAX Certification and Return to Service
Boeing has completed development of the updated software for the 737 MAX, along with associated simulator testing and the company’s engineering test flight. To date, Boeing has flown the 737 MAX with updated MCAS software for more than 360 hours on 207 flights.
Boeing is now providing additional information to address Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requests that include detail on how pilots interact with the airplane controls and displays in different flight scenarios. Once the requests are addressed, Boeing will work with the FAA to schedule its certification test flight and submit final certification documentation.
“With safety as our clear priority, we have completed all of the engineering test flights for the software update and are preparing for the final certification flight,” said Boeing Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Muilenburg. “We’re committed to providing the FAA and global regulators all the information they need, and to getting it right. Lockheed Martin Breaks Ground On New Production Facility

Parsons Corporation Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
